Welding job pack

WMS-JP-01 on screen. One pack per job: the job number, customer, drawing and revision are entered once on the cover and carry through all seven sections. The same document exists on paper — download it from Forms — and a job runs on one or the other, not both.

An electronic record only counts if it carries who made the entry, when, by a clock they cannot set, with earlier versions still retrievable. That is why nothing here can be entered without being signed in, why a correction saves a new version rather than overwriting, and why a job releases on three signatures rather than on a tick box.

Controlled copy. The controlled master of every document in this system is the file held on the IDM server in the welding management system folder structure. This portal is a controlled view of it. Where the two differ, the server file governs.
