Take the Job Pack

One pack per job. Job number, customer and drawing entered once on the cover — it covers all seven sections. The individual forms below are the same content, if you need one on its own.

Conditional attachments

Used only when the technical review or the inspection and test plan calls for them.

The job-level form set. A blank form is a document under document control; a completed form is a record under records control. They are managed differently.

Always copy from the masters folder

Blank forms come from 08 Blank Forms - Masters and nowhere else. Copying last job's completed form and overwriting it is how an obsolete revision spreads through a system.

The seven sections of the Job Pack, in the order they are worked, plus the two conditional attachments.

Five forms were retired at Rev 2

WMS-E-14 technical review is now part of E-01 · WMS-E-03 welder allocation is part of E-02 · WMS-E-10 consumable issue is part of E-09 · WMS-E-07 dimensional inspection is part of E-05 · WMS-D-07 material certificate register is part of D-06. They are not published here and must not be used. A job already running on them finishes on them.

Why these are not filled in on this portal

Most of the forms above are product evidence for a CL2 rail component, carry an approval signature, or are completed at the booth. The blank is a document under document control; the completed form is a record under records control, and the two are managed differently.

The seven job-pack sections can be completed electronically — see Job pack — where every entry carries who made it and when, corrections keep the earlier version, and a job releases on signature. Anything not completed that way is completed on paper and filed in the job folder.

Controlled copy. The controlled master of every document in this system is the file held on the IDM server in the welding management system folder structure. This portal is a controlled view of it. Where the two differ, the server file governs.
