Shared process
This process serves both disciplines. The controlled procedure belongs to IDM's ISO 9001 system. The welding system references it and adds only what welding requires on top.
One management review, with welding as a standing input. The welding review does not exist separately.

Where it needs maturing¶
Welding performance is not currently a standing agenda item. The welding input covers qualification status, continuity confirmations, single-welder exposure, repair rates, NDT rejection rates, RWC availability and — most importantly — activity log completeness.
A period in which the activity log shows no coordination entries cannot be reported as an effective system, whatever the other figures show.
