13. Non-conformance and corrective action

Non-conformance and corrective action are controlled within the ISO 9001 system (QP03), aiming to identify non-conformity as early as possible. A Non-Conformity Report (NCR) is raised and passed to the appropriate manager. Welding-related non-conformances are referred to the RWC to consider immediate remedial action, stopping the process, recall of completed items, feasibility and method of re-welding, weld repairs (per FPC 04) and reassessment, lessons learnt, and welder competency/training needs.

Controlled copy. The controlled master of every document in this system is the file held on the IDM server in the welding management system folder structure. This portal is a controlled view of it. Where the two differ, the server file governs.
